Elders & Deacons
We currently have seven board members: David Hord, Adam Henson, Adam Zeigler, Bryan Purcell, Chris Spencer, Donnie Lucas, and Kenny Mulikin.
The role of the elders and deacons is to shepherd the church alongside the pastoral staff in accordance with God's direction.
Justin loves Jesus, his wife Sarah, writing, barbecue and baseball. He is a die-hard Chicago Cubs fan, and can always be seen sporting some kind of Cubs gear. Justin is an avid guitar player and collector. He holds Bachelors and Masters degrees from Kentucky Christian University, and is currently a PhD candidate at Johnson University. It is his passion to see others come into a relationship with Christ and deepen their knowledge of God's Word.
Sarah is super passionate about coming alongside others and encouraging them through Scripture, specifically women and children. She has a heart for connecting children and their families in worship and study of the Word. Sarah enjoys spending most of her time hanging out with her husband, Justin, and creating new adventures during their travels together. She is a corgi lover and loves hanging out with their fur baby, Stanley! Most days you will find her reading, watching college football (Go Bucks!), or designing new spaces around their house. She graduated from Marshall University with a degree in Elementary Education and has obtained a Master’s degree from Liberty University in Professional Counseling, serving as a Mental Health Counselor in a private practice.
Brett has a passion for serving others, technology, and the genuine connections that Christ creates. Every week he works diligently to make sure each service goes off without a hitch and to make sure the most people can effectively hear the Word of God. Outside of church you can find him watching college football, hanging out with friends, or farming. He graduated from Northern Kentucky University with a Bachelors’s in Business Information Systems.
